About the Hall and the GVCA

 

The Hall was opened in 1983, the culmination of 12 years of the efforts of a team of volunteers. The history is well worth a read - to get an appreciation of the dedication that was shown in raising the funds, acquiring the land and building the hall, to give us the fantastic facility we enjoy today.

We have been delighted in 2010 to be able to carry out a significant programme of extension and development work. The result of this is a great venue, ideal for a wide range of regular activities and perfect for private parties or conferences.

 

The facilities at the hall are excellent, hence why it is suited to such a wide range of activities, as you will find through the What's On page.

 

The hall can be hired for private functions or a professional event.

 

Grimsargh Village Community Association (GVCA) is the organisation that runs and maintains the village hall. It is a registered charity, run by a Management Committee of Trustees, all of whom are volunteers. The current team are as follows:
