Our monthly market with a wide range of stalls offering various meats, cheeses, fish, vegetables, bakery, eggs, cakes, soaps and crafts. The popular cafe serves breakfast barms, homemade soups and the usual beverages.

Conder Green Meats 

 

Thursday 31st May - "Container Gardening" - 7pm - 9pm

 

  

Even if you only have a window sill you can still garden. Learn how to grow all kinds of plants in containers and prepare to widen your ideas about what can be used as a ‘plant pot’. You will have a chance to plant up a container to take home and enjoy. All plants, materials and containers are provided. Price £25.

Container Garden 

 

Thursday 7th June 2012 - Parish Council Meeting, 7.30pm (small hall)

 

Prior to the meeting, 6.30-7pm will be the Parish Council Surgery, where any member of the public can come and discuss an issue with two of the Parish Councillors - no appointment necessary.

 

Members of the public are also welcome to attend the main Parish Council meeting.

Saturday 16th June, 7.30pm to late!

Live Big Band at the Village Hall

Featuring “Switched on Swing”

 

We really hope that this is going to be something a bit different for Grimsargh! There will be a live band "Switched on Swing" performing all the popular sounds from the Big Band era. You are invited to "dress the part" to "Get in The Mood" - whatever you take that to be! The hall will be decked out beautifully, Pimms will be served and there will be a buffet supper.

 

Do get your tickets early, as there are limited numbers and we are sure that this is going to be a very popular event.

Swing Band Night 

Monday 18TH June, 1– 3.30pm - Young at Heart Celebration of Preston Guild

 

Lunch and Laughter with an ‘Old Lancashire’ theme.

 

There will be traditional Lancashire fare of Hot Pot and Desserts with tea & coffee or soft drinks.

 

Be entertained and amused by Brian Halliwell, talking on Northern Comedians and Lancashire comedy.

Monday 18TH June, 6.30 – 9pm, Walking GPS Treasure Hunt

 

Starting and finishing at the Village Hall, an on foot GPS Treasure Hunt for all the family around Grimsargh using GPS or smartphones with GPS.

 

Tea, Coffee and cakes will be available at the finish.

Allow around 1½ hours to complete the hunt. There will be a small entrance fee.
