Regular Activities:

The Hall is the venue for many weekly and monthly activities ranging from the Pre-School and the Toddlers Playgroup, through Gardening, WI and other clubs and committees - and not forgetting our popular Farmers' Markets!

Wednesday 6th February 19, 7.30pm - Gardening Club

Judith Clark, Secretary of the club will be giving a presentation entitled “Flora of the Western Cape”. Judith will give an illustrated talk about the holiday she spent in South Africa, which was a Gardeners’ World Magazine Competition prize.

Saturday 16th February 19 - Farmers' Market, 9am - 1pm

All the usual great selection of meats, cheeses, bread, pies, cakes, jams, crafts, plants and lots more. Alongside is the ever-popular market cafe, where the ovely lasses will serve you scrumptious breakfast barms, home-made soups, toasties, fresh coffee, mugs of tea.....and all with a a smile.

Wednesday 6th March 19, 7.30pm - Gardening Club

Ioan Davies, Chairman of the Japanese Garden  Society, NW Region.

Ioan will give a talk introducing Japanese Gardens, why they are like they are, historical development, religious and cultural influences and the various components: rocks, water, plants and ornamentation.

Farmers' Market

Saturday 23rd March, 1pm - Fashion Show, in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Tickets £5, in advance. Doors will open at 1pm, for a 1.30pm start.

There will be a raffle, with fabulous prizes.

Shopping and fund-raising at the same time - what could be better!
